we went to the royal albert hall tonight to watch the ballet, swan lake. i was excited b/c i LOVEEE the ballet, oh tutus, i LOVE tutus and how the girls are look sooo graceful and beautiful. what i forgot to mention to alexxi (b/c i knew he'd hesitate) was that um ya you can see the guys nuts. this is beyond nut hugger, banana hammock sacks, i mean these are tights, hoisery therefore you can see every definition on the man's lower half. at least they're muscular. could be fat blokes dancing around there.
i thought the male lead danced wonderfully. usually the men prance around and look heavy and not graceful, but this one wow he was excellent. his jetes and pirouettes were amazing, very graceful and musicality was great. the lead female, the swan, she was wonderful too. my favourite scene was when all the swans were dancing together, so it was this magical scene of white feathery tutus.... it was spectacular, really glad i got to see this.
